Content rules and guidelines

Vugo Content Rules & Guidelines

Vugo is designed to help you, the content creator, gain greater exposure to your clients. Our network can be a powerful medium for you whether you’re an artist, a musician, a filmography, an advertiser or another content provider.

This is a great opportunity for you to expand your exposure to a super high-value audience, so seize the moment by adding your content today! Most of all, we want our audience and our content providers to have fun. Go Vugo!

Advertising in the backseat of cars requires a solid foundation of trust from riders, drivers, and advertisers. We need our content partners to be responsible guardians of that confidence, which will allow you to reach a wider audience. Treat riders, drivers and the businesses around ridesharing how you would like to be treated.

Content rules

Below you will find the ground rules for our content guidelines. We require all content providers to follow these rules precisely, and we will immediately remove any content that violates any of our rules. We ask that you follow these guidelines not only by the precise definition of the rules but also by the spirit of the rules. The following material may not appear in any content used on the Vugo network:

  • Nudity or sexual content
  • Violent or graphic content
  • Hateful content
  • Spam, misleading or fraudulent content
  • Promotional content or advertisements disguised as non-advertising content without permission from Vugo, Inc.
  • Harmful or dangerous content
  • Copyrighted material without the creator’s or owner’s permission
  • Threatening content

We take these rules very seriously

You should too. We reserve the right not to display your content for any reason. However, producing and publishing content that falls into the categories above will be grounds for immediate and permanent removal of your content and privilege to participate as a content provider on the Vugo network.

We monitor reports of content violations 24/7

We understand that not all content is in violation if it is reported. Good content often offends some people, and we are not seeking to censor your content.

Our staff reviews reported videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. Sometimes a video doesn't violate our guidelines, but might not be appropriate for everyone. These videos may get removed as well. Content creators are penalized for Community Guidelines violations, and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination, even on the first violation depending on the severity of the content violation. If an account is terminated, that person will not be allowed to create any new accounts.

Thank You

- The Vugo Team.
